Laura is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She firmly believes that the success of counseling is dependent on the establishment of a trusting and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. She assists individuals to cope more effectively and heal from a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Laura uses evidence-based practices, which include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to empower clients to work toward the achievement of their personal therapeutic goals.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Art degree in psychology from The College of Wooster and a Master of Education degree in Community Counseling from Kent State University. She considers herself a lifelong learner who pursues ongoing educational and training experiences to provide comprehensive and quality care to her clients. Outside of work, Laura enjoys reading and cooking. She and her family can often be found hiking through the Metroparks around Cleveland, preparing for longer treks to national parks around the country.
