Amy Solomon is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 25 years of experience in the field of behavioral health. She provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. Amy uses a relational-based, insight-oriented approach, drawing on a variety of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Based Practices. Amy believes that when an individual is invested in their healing process and ready to look inward, therapy is transformational. She assists individuals in working through challenging life situations and attain a sense of achievement, happiness, and fulfillment. Amy joins her clients as they navigate challenging life circumstances, learn new ways to manage difficult emotions, and develop stronger relationships with others and oneself.

In 1993, Amy earned a Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services from John Carroll University. Over the years, she has worked in hospitals, residential treatment programs, community mental health and college settings. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three adult children. Amy also enjoys going to concerts and trying new restaurants throughout the Greater Cleveland area.
