Kerry Katz is an Independently Licensed Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults as well as families. Kerry earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Conflict and Peace Studies from Northland College. Subsequently, she earned a Master’s Degree in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University. Throughout her professional career, Kerry has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a Residential Treatment Facility for adolescents, a Domestic Violence Program working with both victims and perpetrators, and an outpatient mental health center. She specializes in anxiety disorders; mood disorders; life cycle transitions; self-harming behaviors; disruptive behaviors; peer relationships. Kerry has expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Enhancement Therapy. Kerry understands how the family system can impact one’s behavior as well as how the system can be impacted by individual family members’ behaviors.
Her clients range from 15-65 years of age and may be seeking counseling in any of the above areas that are within Kerry’s scope of practice.
