Gregg Moses is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families. He joined the Organization for Psychological Health, in May 2020. In his work as a therapist, Gregg helps children, teenagers and their families to manage anxiety, mood disorders and ADHD/ADD. He also works with individuals and families going through the process of grief and loss. He uses a practical, client-centered approach and draws upon several evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness Based Practices.
Gregg earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1982. He earned a Master’s degree in Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 1987. He became licensed in Ohio again in 2015 and began working as a Middle School Counselor at Hawken School the following year. He is trained in the RULER approach to social emotional learning developed at Yale University and is responsible for the implementation of this program at Hawken.
Gregg is originally from Cleveland and lived in Washington, D.C. for approximately 15 years before returning in 2015 to be closer to family and friends.
Gregg strives to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship and believes that people make changes when they feel understood and valued in therapy.
