Amy Solomon is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 20+ years of experience working with individuals seeking treatment for various issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, family relationships, ADHD/ADD and a host of life stressors unique to adolescents and adults. In the context of both individual and group counseling, Amy works with children, adolescents and adults. Over the years, Amy has worked in hospitals, residential treatment programs, community mental health and college settings.
In 1993, Amy received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from John Carroll University. As a therapist, she draws on a wide variety of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness Based Practices. Her professional goal is to assist individuals in working through challenging life situations and attain a sense of achievement, happiness and fulfillment.
